Six arms of nightmare. Man-Spider — the neogenic mutation that devoured Peter Parker — crouches atop a shattered rooftop parapet in a snarl of red eyes and fangs. Four arms ending in razor claws join his legs in a predator's crouch, a loop of webbing trailing from one wrist. His face is pure arachnid horror: a cluster of glowing red eyes set into a craggy, fanged skull, ivory tusks curving from his jaw, one familiar white eye-lens of his Spider-Man mask still clinging to his brow. The red-and-blue costume hangs in tatters — web pattern cracked, blue torn away in ribbons — the spider emblem barely surviving on his chest. Below him the scene tells a war story: a Green Goblin pumpkin bomb erupting in translucent flame, a spider-slayer robot clawing up the bricks, and a Goblin glider blade sweeping the corner.
