There is nothing left of the doctor in those eyes — only hunger. Dr. Curt Connors' worst experiment lurches across a wrecked sewer lab in this Marvel sculpt: a towering reptilian predator crouched over broken pipework, jaws gaping wide enough to swallow hope, green chemical ichor pooling at his feet. His torn lab coat hangs off massive shoulders, the embroidered name tag a last souvenir of the man who invented his own worst enemy. Scale and saliva aside, the sculpt finds the tragedy in the monster: the hunched defensiveness, the claws that once held test tubes. Color and clay renders show every torn fiber and ridged scale. The lizard brain won that night in the lab, and it has been winning ever since.
