Her classic stage-magician costume is all sharp tailoring: black tailcoat over a white pleated shirt with bow tie, a gold-brocade corset, fishnet stockings, heeled boots, and white gloves, a red rose pinned at her lapel. Long dark hair whips around a beaming, mischievous grin. Ribbons of translucent blue-violet magic swirl around her in a great arc, spectral doves dissolving from the spell-smoke. She balances atop a giant open spellbook etched with arcane circles, purple tentacles coiling upward from a round plinth strewn with playing cards — stagecraft and real sorcery colliding in one joyous burst.
